The beds were surprisingly comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. the key location was perfect for exploring the surrounding countryside and nearby attractions. the advantage of having a private bathroom, even if it wasn't en suite, was convenient.
The bathrooms not being en suite was a bit inconvenient. the lack of a homely atmosphere in the residents' lounge was a bit disappointing.
